I'm often asked which apps you should download. I thought I'd put together a few of my favorite apps.

how to get your ex back – howtogetyourexfriendback.com

Education:

Star walk: If you like stargazing at night this is the app for you. Star walk is a great app to learn the various constellations and celestial objects in the sky. Cost $1.99

BYKI: By far my favorite language learning application. I used it to help teach myself Haitian Creole. My wife is currently using it to learn Spanish. There are a wide variety of languages to choose from Italian, French, German, Haitian Creole and others. Cost $7.99

Games:

Yes, I love Angry Birds so does everyone else in the world. Here are few others you might enjoy.

Temple Run: I'm not a big gammer but I find Temple Run very addictive. Maybe it's my inner “Indiana Jones” but I really enjoy the fun game. Think pretty much every treasure hunter's movie – as soon as he grabs the treasure he then has to escape a myriad of booby trapped mazes. Cost Free

God of Fight: Fun simple little app. My ten year old boys love this game. Cost Free

Fruit Ninja: For the inner thumb ninja in all of us. Test you ninja thumb skills slicing and dicing fruit. Beware of flying bombs that look very similar to coconuts. Lite version is free. Standard version $.99

Music

SoundHound: You know the tune and chorus but can remember the artist or song title. What to do? Fire up SoundHound and within seconds you'll know the answer. Great app for when your driving and listening to the radio. Cost Free.

Navigation

GPS by Telenav: Great navigation tool for the iPhone. There is a free version but I opted for the $.99 version. I tested it thoroughly on a recent trip to San Francisco, Muir Woods and Stinson Beach. Turn by turn navigation was spot on and provided good cues. Be mindful that the turn-by-turn navigation is free for the first 30 days. If you want to continue using turn-by-turn navigation they are running a promo offer of $9.99 for your first year.

MotionX GPS Drive HD: Another great navigation tool for the iPhone and iPad. I really like the visual turn-by-turn navigation tools. A central screen makes it easy to find  food, coffee, gas, parking and medical facilities. Traffic integrations helps you plan your trip more effectively. Based on the ratings on the App Store this is fast becoming the most popular navigation app I've found – 2,761 people gave it 5 stars. Cost for Voice Turn-by-turn navigation $9.99 per year.

Organization

FindThingsFast – If you're like me you have a lot of stuff. I generally know where it is but still find myself rummaging. FindThingsFast is an excellent tool that allows you to Store and FindThingsFast. Cost Free

I'd love to hear some of your favorite apps. Please share with a comment to this post.
